My Reading Update

Good evening fellow bookworms,

My paying job has been keeping me really busy and tonight I have to go in overnight to do some things but before that, I’d like to clue you in on my bookish adventures.

Last month, I hauled in over 40 paper books though I can’t remember how many digital (probably around 20 including buying and ARCs) which I rambled about on my Instagram account. If you’re curious, you can find it here:

Hi, my name is Megan and I'm a Book and Book Tuber Addict. So I told myself I would limit the number of books to buy until I get some of what I have read and cull what I don't want. I had good intentions…. and then I found out my local library was having a sale, also found a book at a place I was training at for work, two local bookshops, a couple of won books, a couple from @bookoutlet , two from @owlcrate, two from @barnesandnoble and now I have the biggest haul of books that I've had in years which is 40 Books, most of which I wanted to read for a while or I just couldn't say no to. So that makes my current books owned at the whopping number (for me anyways) of 435 print books with less than 100. That's not even half of what I own digitally but that's a story for another day. I won't run out of reading material anytime soon and I know I'll buy more books but I'm determined to limit the amount per month. My bookworm side is laughing at me and sarcastically wishing me good luck. #bookaddict #bookstagram #happybookworm #librariesarecool #bookoutlet #owlcrate #bibliophile #needmoretime #belleismytwin #usedbooks #booksknowmyname #booksaremykryptonite

and feel free to add me whether you’re  a bookworm or not, I say the more friends the better!

Thus month I’m determined to limit myself at least in the paper form and try hard to read the books I have. Exceptions will be ARCs I may receive (digital and paper).

In other news, currently these are the books I’m reading. Normally I don’t read more than three books at a time but exceptions are possible as a bookworm. They are as follows:

1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (reread) by J.K. Rowling
2. Drakon’s Plunder by N.J. Walters
3. The Jane Austen Project by Kathleen A Flynn
4. Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
5. Hunted By Sin by Jasmine Walt
All of these are such great books and I’m planning to do a review on all of them soon. My name is Megan and I’m a Book Addict! Also numbers 2, 3, & 5 have been generously given to me in exchange for a review.

So that’s a brief update on what’s been going on in my bookish world. Also, I am still addicted to booktube and find myself listening even while driving to and from work instead of the radio.

Thank you so much for dropping by and I hope you’ll return soon to find out what I am up to. If you’d like to connect with me, you can find me at these social media sites:

I shall see you soon and never forget to take a book along just in case you might have a moment to read 😜

Slainte,

~Meg
