Top 10 Tuesday: Books To Read By May

Good afternoon,

It’s a sunny and nice day here in Minnesota. I’m so glad that the snow didn’t stick around for long and hopefully it won’t come back until December.

Speaking of sticking around, I have some books on my TBR that I’ve been meaning to get to and will hopefully finish or be close to finishing by the end of this month. I’ve been doing fairly well on the readathons that I’ve decided to join in on but feel that I need a bit more of a push so that I can reduce the piles of books I have everywhere even if it’s just a little bit. There are much more than ten but these are the ones that I am either in the middle of or really need to get read for readathons or Library books that need to go back soon.

So I present to you my list:

Well that wraps up my bookish ramblings for the time being. I’m looking forward to joining on my Library’s Book Club discussion tonight and it’s one of the rare times that I am not scrambling to finish the book at the last minute. I had a long trip on Thursday and was able to listen to most of it via audiobook on the way to and from the trip!

I hope you have a great rest of your day and I will return shortly with more bookish ramblings.

Happy Reading!

Slainte

Top 10 Tuesday: Anticipated Reads

Good morning,

It’s a beautiful sunny day here in Minnesota and I’m so excited that Spring has arrived. I know it’s been a bit since I did a Top Ten Tuesday post and I thought today would be a great day to do it.

My list of books that I want to read seems to grow daily because I am easily distracted by books and in fact this weekend I added even more to my physical TBR as I went to an Indie bookstore with my boyfriend and proceeded to come out with five more books. Most of them were quite the bargain and I had the bookseller who checked me out laughing because she had talked to my boyfriend while I was browsing who said I was just getting one book and by the time I was done shopping, did not in fact have just one book. I made her laugh even harder when I jokingly said this was why I wasn’t allowed in a bookstore by myself.

Speaking of books, I thought I’d share a list of some of the books that I want to get to that are either releasing this month or in the next few months. Most of these are ARCs that I’ve received and am hoping to get to them before their release date or just after their release. So without further ado, I present to you my list:

Release Date: April 11, 2023

Release Date: May 2, 2023

May 16, 2023

Release Date: May 23, 2023

Release Date: June 6, 2023

Release Date: July 11, 2023

Release Date: July 18, 2023

Release Date: July 25, 2023

Well that wraps up my bookish ramblings for the time being. I’m looking forward to seeing how many of these books I will get to and eventually doing a follow up post to talk about these books soon.

Hope you have a wonderful week and I will return soon with more bookish content and I will eventually post an update on how I did in March. Well I had best get back to reading which is currently Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez which released today, also will be making a trip to the Library at some point and enjoying this beautiful day!

Happy Reading!

    Saturday Musings: April TBR Possibilities

    Happy Saturday,

The month of March just seemed to fly by and while I didn’t get to all of the books I had planned on, I am really glad how well things went and had lots of fun.

I’m looking forward to starting with a clean slate in April. It’s rare that I am able to start a month with not being in the middle of a book and I felt so accomplished to be able to show my status as not currently reading something because I finished all of the books I was working on last night.

Speaking of books, I thought I would share with you my pile of possibilities and the kinds of readathons that I am excited to be participating in. I may have overestimated how much I can read in a month but I do enjoy having options and some are ones that I’ve been excited to get to. I’ve tried to divide some of the books into those that I’m reading for readathons and those I’m reading for other reasons.
