Top 10 Tuesday: November Wrap Up

Happy Tuesday,

Hard to believe we’re just two days away from the end of the month. Overall, it’s been a successful reading month though I didn’t get to as many nonfiction books as I had hoped. I did however, reach my personal goal of books I wanted to read this year. I still have some things I want to get to in December which I’m hoping to wrap up a couple of days before so I’m not scrambling to finish books just before midnight on New Year’s Eve

Speaking of books, I thought I would share some of my favorites out of the twenty one that I managed to get to and I have a feeling my total amount will be twenty four or twenty five. Some of these were anticipated reads and one of them was a reread. So I present to you my list:

Well that wraps up my bookish ramblings for the time being. I am planning to hopefully have my TBR possibilities up by Friday as I already have a list going and am excited to tackle some books that have been on my list for a while and get to some very anticipated reads. I am also hoping to finish up some personal reading goals which I will go more into depth about.

I will return shortly with more bookish ramblings. I’ll be squeezing in as much reading as possible between today and tomorrow as well as stopping by the Library or Bookstore to check out some new releases. I will probably also be bringing more books home though planning to stick to borrowing at least for a little bit.

Happy Reading!

Top 10 Tuesday: November and December Releases On My Radar

Happy Tuesday,

This month has flown by and this Thursday is going to be Thanksgiving in the U.S. It doesn’t quite seem like November as it’s been rainy instead of the usual cold but I will take the rain any day. I’m excited to eat delicious food, relax and hopefully get in some reading.

Speaking of books, I have quite the line up that I’ve been adding to lately particularly with so many releases happening between this month and the next which is not helping my shelf space but is also bringing me so much joy at the thought of getting to many of these books soon.

So I thought I would share with you even more of the books I’m hoping to have in my hands soon and will read soon(ish):

November 7th

November 18th

November 21st

November 28th

December 1st

December 5th

December 26th

Well that wraps up my bookish ramblings for the time being. I’m excited to see what I will get to and new favorites I can add to my list to come back to and reread at some point.

I will return shortly with more bookish ramblings. I may very well stop by the Bookstore at some point today or later this week though I know for sure I will be going to the Library as my Fiction Book Club meets up tonight and I’m looking forward to talking about the book we all read.

Happy Reading and hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate!

Top 10 Tuesday: Books Hauled

Happy Tuesday,

November has been quite the exciting month for me as it’s when a good chunk of my most anticipated reads has been released. It’s only halfway through the month but I have hauled quite the amount of books and the majority of my pre-orders has arrived. It’s my plan to slow down after this month on physically buying books but also not planning to put myself on a book buying ban because it’s not something I’ve been able to stick to in the past.

While I have hauled quite a bit more than ten this month, I thought I’d share some of my top hauls and are books that I’m looking forward to diving in and there’s even one that’s a physical ARC! I would like to note that I have already finished one of the books in this line up which I’m very proud to mention.

Well that wraps up my bookish ramblings for the time being. I have so many books to get to that I’ve hauled this month on top of the other books that I already have though many are pre-orders that I’ve been waiting to have in my hands and I love having a variety of books to choose from particularly when I find myself jumping around with different genres.

I will return shortly with more bookish ramblings. I’m off to finish at least one book and maybe I’ll find myself at a bookstore or the Library because even if I don’t get anything, it brings me happiness to be in those places.

Happy Reading!

Top 10 Tuesday: Audiobooks

Happy Tuesday,

Today is an exciting day for many bookworms particularly if they are excited to read Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros, A Curse of Krakens by Kevin Hearne, Check & Mate by Ali Hazelwood and/or many of the books that are released today, all of whom I am excited to get to soon and what an interesting day to have so many books released at once.

I was very lucky to be able to attend a Midnight Release party for Iron Flame which was so much fun to be among other fellow bookworms to celebrate the release, enjoy themed drinks, talk about a variety of books and get in on the excitement. I really hope there will be similar bookish events happening in the future.

Speaking of anticipated books, I’ve been listening to more audiobooks lately as I don’t have as much time to read with my eyeballs and I thought I’d mention some that I’ve been meaning to get to. There was a time when it was hard for me to listen to an audiobook but now I find it soothing particularly when I’m having to do a task I’m not looking forward to.

So without further ado, I present to you my list:

Well that wraps up my bookish ramblings for the time being. I have so many books to get to and after this month, I’m hoping to slow down on how many physical books I’ve been hauling. As to how many Library books I’ll be hauling, the sky is the limit!

I will return shortly with more bookish ramblings. I’m off to finish at least one book, maybe two and maybe start another one because I have bookish goals to smash and only so many hours in a day to accomplish those.

Happy Reading!

Wednesday Musings: November TBR Possibilities

Hello,

I had planned to post my plans for November a little earlier in the day but it’s been a busy day and time really got away from me. I’m proud of myself for still posting this on November 1st and there’s so many books that I’m hoping to get to as per usual along with participating in at least a few readathons.

I would like to mention that these books I’m mentioning are possibilities and most likely will not get to all of them but it’s fun to have options and could potentially be one of my most productive reading months but since I’m a mood reader, it’s hard to say at this point.

So without further ado, I present to you my hopefuls and the readathons I hope to join in on. I would like to also note that I will also be reading a variety of Native American books in honor of it being Native American Heritage month. It’s important to read books about Native Americans more than just in one month which is something that I strive for.

It will also be nice to hopefully bring up my Netgalley score and check off some more books that I set to read in my 23 in 23.

I will return shortly with more bookish ramblings. I will shortly be on my way to Barnes and Noble after work tomorrow to pick up an anticipated read. Too bad I won’t have much time to read it as I will be going to job number two shortly afterwards. It will be well worth wait though I’m sure!

Happy Reading!
